The following message (Calling Organic Farmers!!!!) was posted by Jay, on 10/6/2010 2:59 We have a family farm of over 1000 hectares of which approx 90% has been lying fallow for over 40 years. In its heyday it was a thriving, vibrant agrarian community, with its own school, temple retreat, farm shops, teacher's cottages, rustic accommodation,etc. A beautiful river runs through it, block-making facilities, sand sales, etc. Our dream is to convert this into an ecovillage with large scale organic crops (sugar cane, stevia, fruit, bee farming, worm farming, etc) together with sustainable communities, working holidays, skills development. retreats...limitless options that would enhance the lifestyle of all who are a part of this venture. I am putting out a prayer for support, advice and ideas from people who may want to be a part of this transition town right here in rural KZN.
